Monday cold day with only one keeper
Tuesday was another cold day with three keepers
Wednesday did not go
Thursday was a better day. we had 32 keepers in the boat caught more but to small. They were right almost at the 10" mark. They was out in the open on the clay banks where the wind was blowing the water up on the banks. A friend told me to try fishing like that for them on a windy day. he said they feed on the bait fish that the wind/current pushes into the shallow. We fished about 4 feet deep. Tried some places where there was no wind, and not a single bite. Catching them all on bobber with a minnow under it.
Friday caught 14 keepers that morning, and me and a friend went back that evening and put 12 more keepers in the freezer. Same pattern
