    Default fish scales

Is there a dependable scale on the market that will weigh crappie somewhat accurately? In the past the same scales may weigh a 2-lb fish anywhere from 1 to 3 lbs. Thanks

Does it have to be a scale? Most of the digital hand helds are very accurate. Heck, one of mine even goes to the 1/4 oz.

I have one of the Rapala digitals and it seems to work ok.

Just how accurate are you looking for? I use these myself:

I would suggest the IN-4 for crappie. A bit pricey but they are IGFA certifiable for accuracy purposes and built to last. The digital scales available are just hit and miss as to true accuracy, plus so much that can go wrong with them.

I have one of the $25.00 digital ones and it seems to work fine. But i heard that the Post office scales are pretty accurate.
You can't fish with a hung line!
