That would definitely be a good one for the archives.
Would you consider putting togeather a thread that could be saved showing books and videos. Maybe by topic or in A to Z order. I'm not picking on ya but you and some others are good at completely researching a topic.
What do you think?
That would definitely be a good one for the archives.

As an afterthought, maybe a FAQ section. There are many things that could be put in there. Books and Videos, on line bait stores, how to troll, spider rig just to name a few.

I have probably posted the same questions several times. I tend to forget. Crappie FAQ's. Has a nice ring to it. Sounds like a job for ..............SUPER EDOriginally Posted by IBNFSHN

Eventually I may try to do something like that with Word or Wordperfect so that it would be in an article like format.
Until then I would recommend some of the following books and Videos.
If you like to bass fish then here are a few others
- Crappie Wisdom In-Fishermen Book
- In-Fisherman Magazine and Old issues of Fishing Facts Magazine
- Crappie World Magazine
- Bill Dance Video on Crappie Fishing is good
- Wally Marshalls Shallow Water Slabs is pretty good too
- The Herter's old Professional Guide Books
- Field and Stream Magazine (A classic)
- Outdoor Life (Another old classic but still good one)
- Game and Fish Magazine ( covers local information in lots of different states)
- Lucas on Bass Fishing
- Lunkers Love Nightcrawlers
- Spoonblugging E.L "Buck" Perry The daddy of Structure Fishing
- BassMaster Magazine
- In-Fisherman Magazine too
- Old Issues of Fishing Facts Magazine
- Most of the magazines mentioned above cover bass fishing and other speices of freshwater fish in North America
- Browse the local bookstores and you can find the In-Fishermen Books on Largemouth Black Bass and SmallMouth Bass as well as Northern Pike and Walleyes. It's good information but a lot of it is very similar to the Crappie Wisdom book. The descriptions of the different types of lakes and how to classify them and all the information about reading maps and structure fishing is useful for most fish species.

why not just have Ed move the posts, with that info in them, into the "Archives" ? OR you guys could either enter a post directly, or "copy & paste" these, yourself. No need to add anything, just make use of the facilities already in place. There's only 6 threads in there now, so it would be easy to scan thru (for anyone seeking good books, vids, & mags on Crappie fishing). Then, when someone asks about them, on the main or state boards, we can direct them to the Archives thread ......... just a thought. .........cp
Jerry's condo instructions need to be in there. Of all the info and tips, the bamboo condos has produced more results in a short time. it atleast needs to go in the archives.
