Stewart Creek has a bank fishing area that is excellent this time of year. I don't know if they are in shallow yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could catch a mess later this week.

The bank fishing area is near the boat ramp. In fact, I think it's on the same road as the ramp.

    Default Stewarts Creek

You will find them shallow in Stewarts creek. go as far back as you can stand it. Fish right ont the edge of the creek channel around any wood you can locate. The ramp area also has excellent fishing. Go around the walkway to the steep bluff. Hard to fish there but you will catch fish right up against the wall.

I know a guy who uses chest waders and wades out to the stake beds in Fall Creek.

No fish in Fall Creek. Stay away! JK. Little secret they're in there a little bit now. I had 11 keepers up in there this past Sunday. They'll really be in there this weekend, and so will I. I'll be in the boat though. there were some people with hip boots on catching some Sunday too. I put my waders and rod in the truck in case i need to swing in there on my way home this week. But so far i haven't had a chance. Maybe today. Bringing the boat to work tomorrow though.

Well if I dont head out that way this evening I may run out there in the morning or late tom evening.Got an invite to go to the Sportsman Lodge to eat Friday with a friend. So might have to do that. Then go out to the lake and relax and let the food wear off.

The Sportsman's lodge is pretty good. As soon as the water temp hits 60, the jugs are gonna come out of storage.
