Exclamation Need big sandy fishing report

I will have my little girl this weekend trying to catch some crappie. Can anyone Please tell me what's going on with the crappie, say around the power lines or in the south end of big sandy. We only have one day to catch a few and you all know how kids get when your not catching anything. (depth, minnows and or Jigs) thanks to you all. Hey I love this site.:D

PS: I'm putting in near the power lines.

The reports that I am getting are good. Try fishing 6 to 12 foot of water with jigs or minnows. Just find some sort of structure.

Wind has been a problem at times. Been catching fish from 15 ft. to 5 ft. Any type of structure has fish on it. I've started casting shallow and have been catching alot of males. Spider fishing deeper, Britton Ford area, Elckhorn area. Anything with a little chart. color has been good, red, black, solid, and a shad, silver with red and blue metal flake has been catching a few. Good luck.
