Default One of the reasons I fish so much.

Went eagle watching today with the wife. Of course I fished some....LOL. Only caught a handful of spotted bass today but I have to tell you these 11-13 inch Spots sure stretch some Trout Magnet 2# test SOS line using a Tict Ice Cube 6' 9" Mebaru UL rod. Lure today was a Midnight Blue ThunderHawk. Also am including a pic of one of the many reasons I fish......just beauty all around. It sure is gorgeous below Nickajack Dam. Yes we saw the eagles. There are two pairs down there that I have seen. Susan was able to get some great looks at them with her binoculars. No photos as these birds are just not close enough for an iPhone camera. These are some mature birds....really big. No crappie today but later this week am going to check my bank spot which when it is on it is fantastic. I am thinking they may already be there as we have had some really cools nights already and water temps are upper 70's. Until the crappie show back up hope to keep killing the spots. Life is good!

    Regards

We have some eagles here also. Several years ago I watched a young eagle practice his attacks on some coots while sitting on my dock. Beautiful pictures and thanks for the report
