Wish I could help ya but I do good to tie my shoes! :D
OK I got the vise and everything I need(I think). I have tied some jigs and they just don't look right. I am starting out on the all hair jigs( no body material) and well...I just don't know if I am doing it right . Do any of you know any videos that I could get to get a jump start on this? It is not that they are not perfect, I know that it will take time. I just think that I am missing a step. Thanks

Bass Pro used to have an excellent jig tying video, but I can't find it on their website. If you can track it down, it'll be worth it. Since you're starting with hair jigs, you might want to pick up their saltwater tying video and watch Lefty Kreh tie the "Clouser Minnor" (it's basically a bucktail jig.) A chartreuse-over-white Clouser makes a great crappie jig/fly.

I'd leave off step #11, though. The "palmering" is optional.
I will look and see if I still have the video I learned (?) from. It is Lefty and it gives you the basics. If I can find it I'll PM you and get your address.

Go to You Tube dot com. do a search on fly tying. It will bring up several videos which may help. Keep after it. It will all click one day.
You can't finish what you don't start
You may also do a search on Ebay. There's about everything imaginable for sale there.
