    Default Eagle Cuda

Anyone own the Eagle Cuda 250 s/map gps unit, or know if they are good or bad. I was thinking about a gps to keep in the boat all the time, or would a handheld unit be better ?
    I've seen the Eagle Cuda MAP/GPS is $ 199.00 at Cabela's.

I am sure some like the hand held just fine or even more than what I like, but I like to be able to run down the lake and have my GPS mounted so I can see it without having to use my hands to hold it. I also like the larger screen that comes on like a 480x480 pixel screen. Another thing I like is being able to reach up with one hand and push a button to leave a way point of an icon.

Personally I think people that like hand held use them for things other than fishing so they can take it with them. I just don't happen to be one of them. I like sometime having a split screen with the GPS on one side and the depth finder on the other side of the screen to see the bottom and the location all at one time.

I have no clue about the Cuda though.
