Thanks for all the warm welcomes.
I am from SE Wisconsin..Just really getting into the Crappie adventure.
father has gotten me into it over the last year..he lives in maryland..and Im stuck out here trying to figure out how to find, and catch them on my own.
I did manage to get into some last Spring..and thats what really turned me on to them.
We are both going down to Kentucky lake on a guided trip in March...out of Paris TN.
Draging the 16 ft Tracker Deep V with us..we are going to give it a shot on our own the second day.
I hope to learn a little bit about the area prior to getting there.
I have the Hot spots chip card that goes into the Locator..but have yet to play with it..Its cold up here in Cheese land I hope to get out in the boat in the next few days, and at least look at the maps.
Any Advice is more than welcomed..thanks again for the big welcome

Welcome to crappie.com. I see that you are coming down to fish in my area in March. I hope you have a good time and enjoy your stay. I have some other gentlemen coming down from Wisconsin in March to fish. Maybe we will run across each other on the lake.
