    Default Favorite Fishing Partner

This is my favorite fishing partner, and she has been for 53 years. We've done creeks, rivers, reservoirs, high-mountain lakes, small ponds, oceans, you name it. Live bait, cut bait, lures, spinners, dry flies, wet flies, jigs, snagging. Bank fishing, wading, boats, float tubing, docks. Trolling, vertical jigging, cast and retrieve, balloon fishing, jugs, limb lines, trot lines, still fishing. Crappie, cats, sandies, hybrids, bluegills, perch, all species of trout, bass, walleyes, whitefish, burbot, many ocean species.

She almost always catches the biggest fish.
And she's the best camp cook in the world.

Thanks, guys. I am indeed a lucky man. Here's another pic, with some of those funny-looking northern crappie.

You're a lucky man. Mine has had me for 35 years and never tells me no when it's time to head outdoors. She doesn't go but doesn't say no. I'm lucky too.

People argue all the time that fish can't smell, and fish don't pay attention to color, and fish don't this and fish don't that.

I keep saying fish are creatures with a set of senses so acute that we can barely truly understand them. I mean like almost psychic powers.

Fish know when a woman is on the other end of the line. I mean how else would they know which line to jump on all the time? Don't try to tell me different.

It's all good ....keep on fishin'

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

You are a lucky man and I got a feeling she is a lucky woman. I needed that tonight thanks.

I really enjoyed fishing in my teens and my twenties. I took a break in my thirties to help raise our kids and when I started back in my forties my wife started going with me. I became a better fisherman and our relationship improved and life kinda slows down a little when we are on the water.

Life is a puzzle, and God put you and your wife together to complete your puzzle. He did a fine job.
