No need to use 3 ways, just tie a double overhand knot about 5'' long, and drop down about a foot put on a barrel weight about 3/8-1/2 oz. with about 4 0r 5 loops through in the weigh. Drop down again about12'' or so put another jig with double overhand loop knot. Your ready...

    I have Sampo Ekono 3way swivels, size #6 .... 12pk (but they're older than dirt )

I believe they're sold under the name Rosco 3way swivels, nowadays.

Do a Google search for - 3way brass swivel - then click on the "images" link ... and you'll see how many different versions there are out there

If you tie a dropper loop with a twist you can cut one side of the loop and tie the top bait to a single strand. Makes a real clean presentation.

This is my setup. It allows me to change jig lures, color or size quickly.

Swivel really helps stop line twist when you catch a slimmer
