We hit "The Ponds" again today, our second outing in the small boat. On the water by 8:30 am and pulled off at 1 pm. Air temps were in the 60's with water temps pretty consistent throughout the day at 51 degrees. Light & variable breezes.
We hit 'em pretty well today for our first decent outing on open water. Caught 57 fish; most were crappie with 4 pickeral and one bluegill. Nothing of any great size, but after this long, brutal winter, it sure felt good to have a decent day on the water. Here are a couple of shots we took:

Nice buddy!!!!!!! Still waiting on my one pond to open up, the edges are melted but there's still too much ice to get into deeper water. Gonna make a run out and check again tonight.
