    April 11th, 2015

    St Johns River
    Pulic Ramp
    Astor, Fl

    Competitors are allowed to fish Lk George
    North to hwy 44 bridge, Deland south,
    including Dexter & Woodruff.
    At 7am, pressure 30:06 rising fast t0 30:13
    by 10a, before starting down to low 30:06
    by 2pm. Between 10:30 and 2 pm fishing
    went extremely slow.
    Winds varying from calm to reippls 5 mph
    wsw to picking up to 8 mph by 1pm Heat
    temp was ugly, blue bird skies, nothing
    but sun 83 - 91.4 at 2:30pm
    Fourteen (14) teams went out to shake
    and bake to catch the "big one".

    Two (2) positions paid for "Big Fish"

    1st: George Parker / Tim Eberly
    3 lbs. 0.1 oz 18 inches long

    Spawned out female
    Biggest fish ever caught in Fcc 15yr Tournament competition history

    2nd: Don Collins / Rusty Booth
    1 lb 14.0 oz

    Three (3) positions paid "7 fish
    catch weight"

    1st: George Parker / Tim Eberly
    13 lbs 3.2 oz

    2nd: Don Collins /Rusty Booth
    11 lbs 9.8 oz

    3rd: Darryl & Terri Cole
    10 lbs. 14.8 oz

    1st Place: Parker team, Wally Marshall
    10' rods, single pole jigging bottom
    structure Lake George -bombing range,
    targets & Jetties, usking Skippers Jigs-
    "crappie bites", rellow/black & pink/white
    streamers.

    2nd Place: Collins team Wally Marshall
    10' rods, single pole jigging old targets,
    Lk George bombing range using Lake Fork
    "baby shad" & Strike King "Joker jigs" -
    electric chicken.

    3rd Place: Cole team Wally Marshall
    long poles 14 & 16', spider rigged,
    minnow tipped fished Lake Woodruff in
    6 - 9 inches under water with 84 water
    temp running 1.0 mph using Skippers Jigs
    yellew & Ron's Mylar jigs white/orange

    4,597 acres lightly stained water,
    upside down fish bowl-spring fed 4-16ft
    deep. some weed lines - 2 creeks in/out
    Directions: Lake Wales east 7 mi to
    Boy Scout Rd, (right) to dead end -(left)
    Camp Mack Rd, 2 miles to Fish Camp on
    right. Bait store & sign in will be open
    5:45am

    Correction to Lake Rosalie tournament date.

    Saturday April 25th not April 23rd....

    Spoke with Parker last night - fish is already headed to Taxidermy Man.
    Will be mounted with another Florida fish caught by Lady Friend (2 lb 13.5oz)
    in March - they will be full view table mounts to go mantel above fireplace.

    Wow, that's great for a new club record & congrats to George for his 3+lb fish

    I don't think that picture really shows the size of the fish !!

    I personally did not see it, but was told it was a monster...............
    Biggest one George has ever caught in state of Florida.
