    Default New Pole Perch

I built this perch out of scraps. Ima gonna use it at our dock when fishing. We have lost numerous poles over the years, Mostly fish pulling them in the lake or stepping on them.

I will improve it once I prove that it is practical.

The perch works by loosening the wing nut on top, extending the threaded rod enough to allow the T to pass thru the deck crack and twist. Once the T is perpendicular to the deck crack, the perch is tightened in place with the wing nut. I will replace the wing nut with a fluted knob once I check everything out. The T part will be a welded rod and part of the thru rod at a later date.

I have some Bee Ready pole holders I will put on the top bar.

This rig should be cheap to make.

How about cutting some shallow V's into the one o'clock -two o'clock area to keep rods from sliding left or right?
    Looks good!

I love that it's going to be so portable with only a twist of the wing nut!

Good idea. I have some old pole holders to try out

Easy to change the perch rod for different outfittings. Cheap too.
