    Default 1/2 oz Bullet vs. Egg sinker


    Hey guys I know a lot of you prefer the Egg sinker for your spider rigs, however please discuss the pros and cons of this verse the Bullet weight

    Also do you use a bead after your egg sinker?

    I tie a 12" piece of leader to one side of a three way swivel and tie a jig to it. Then I tie another 18-24" piece of leader for the other side of the three way swivel and then feed that leader through an egg sinker three or four times (it holds in place like this and saves on another swivel) then tie a jig to the end of that one. Tie the swivel to your rod and your fishing with two jigs in tandem.

    I don't see why Bullets wouldn't work. I just buy the cheapest.

    the bullet is flat on one side and not user friendly when you feed line thru it 4-5 times like you do a egg...

    I prefer the 1/4 or 3/8 pinch on I make they are easier when building your rig and you can switch out weights depending on conditions without having to re-tie the rig.
