    Default Where would you go?

Planning a crappie fishing trip next spring with a few buddies and was wanting to poll the crappie fishing public on where they would go if they had a few days to fish a new area. We live in SW Mo. Thought about the Mississipi lakes for giant specks or Reelfoot in Tn. Boat is rigged to spider rig or pull cranks. Thanks in advance for your opinions.http://www.crappie.com/crappie/images/smilies/banghead.gif

Couldn't leave the boat. We like to fish from the time we get where we're going till we leave.

If your going to fish Sardis, a day with Feelay would be money well spent. Probably be least expense of your trip for what you get.

Feelay, will be getting in touch with you by e-mail. I see you are a fireman, retired after 32 years as a maintenance electrician for the Springfield, Mo.Fire Dept. Always use fireman for any projects I need done that don't fit my learning curve. Can't beat a guy at his own game as they say.

If I took my boat and had the funds, one of the lakes in northern MS would be where I would go. Having gotten a bloody nose by going to anew water and having to learn the territory I now look for a teacher to shorten my learning curve. Money well spent. I had a trip to Grenada planned last year and the company I worked for then squashed it at the last minute, never got there. It's back on the top of my list for this spring. Good luck in your choice and a good trip when you go.....Skeet
