To get the "America the Beautiful Senior Lifetime Pass", if you are 62 or over, contact the National Park Service. The website for more information is http://www.nps.gov/findapark/passes.htm . To find the nearest location to obtain the "Pass" hold "Control - click" on "federal recreation site" and you will see a list for each state. The cost is $10.00 for a Lifetime pass! (Woodworker42, sometimes it does pay to be old!)

Ranger09 will be helping out with information on good fishing areas and techniques to safely catch Crappie in any size boat. You don't have to have a large boat to fish the area we selected for the Fall Camp. Fishing maps will be provided.

The Corps representative indicated that October is a popular month for campers and they normally start arriving on Friday for the weekend. In order for us to get together as a group, she suggests that we arrive on Thursday afternoon/evening, October 16th or early Friday, October 17th. She said there are plenty of camping spaces for everyone.

The"Early Birds" will probably start arriving on Thursday, October 16th to set up camp and getting an early start on this "laid back" fishing weekend. So far, fifteen folks have indicated they intend to make the Camp, If you decide to "camp" in a cabin or motel, please come join us in the evenings at the Campgrounds and enjoy the hospitality of the "tent folks".

Also, a special invitation is extended to the Kansas folks that are crossing the"border" to come and join us at the Campgrounds. Looking forward to meeting everyone........
