The purple frowny face is about the color I was yesterday.
We thought we would give Acton one more try this fall and hit the lake around nine Saturday just as the fog was lifting. Air temp was 34 degrees. Water temp at the ramp was 49 degrees. Open water temp rose from 51 to 54 degrees between start and finish at 1:00.
Fish were scattered at all depths and lock jawed. We did pick up a handful of small bluegill, but that was it.

The marina is now closed and docks are being taken out of the water. The restrooms at the ramp are still open for another week or so. - Roberta

Thanks for the update Roberta, tried last week at Cowan after riding all of the way up to Deercreek and not being able to put my boat in by myself. The one crappie after all of that driving I like to call the 50 dollar crappie. Oh well, it was a great day for driving!
