nice koke! those sure look tasty!
Got there at about 10:00am
I noticed that there were fishstaked up in about 30 feet of water right out side the launch, so i dropped down a little pinl crappie jig quite a few bumps but not real takes so I started trolling. Flat lined at about 55 pulls.
Started picking up a few the first one was a suprise and a tease at the same time a nice 14in Koke. picked up a few more before some richie rich thought it would be funny to do donnuts anrond me and another boat fishing. BY the way the speed limit is 8MPH DUDE!..got a pick..
All in all I boated 15 kokes but most seemed to be next years spawners, only being about 7in. got my limit of 5 ranging from 10 to 14 inches... pretty dang good day...
To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D

i live about 5 minutes from meridian and has never put my boat in there. Don't much care for Kokes, but at this stage of the game a fish is a fish. have any of you guys fished Morton lately? its not far from meridian.
"GET THE NET!!"
it is on my list to fish...

Got there at about 11:00am to find the gates to the park still closed (suposed to be open at 7:00) launched at the shallow shallow launch, and got on our way in the fog....
slow trip, not many hits and not much activity fish were spread through out the water making pinpoint trolling impossiblebut we did mannage to get some for the day.
Here are a few that we got...
sgtfisher...
