Default Good Email Quote and so true!!!

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, fishing pole in one hand, bait bucket in the
other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

THAT should be on a T-shirt!
Crappie fishing is my lighthouse of sanity in an insane world,
It keeps me from crashing on the rocky shores of everyday life.

    I like it.
Reminds us of Jerry Garcia's lyrics: "I may be going to Hell in a basket, but at least I'm enjoying the ride."

I agree with cane pole. I ain't going down without a fight. You'll have to drag me off the lake for my own funeral. Truck, boat and tackle. I don't think the big man upstairs is ready for that chore yet. :D ..Least I hope for another 30 years. I'm 53 now and in another 30 I may give up fishing unless someone helps me launch the boat. I'll still drive though unless I can't see the trolling motor.

I had read that somewhere once before and couldn't remember where. So I did a google search on "Life should be a journey" and good grief! It seems that has been applied to every walk of life by just changing fishing pole and bait bucket. Canepole's version is by far the best.
