When you buy a gps map to go with your ff like navionics will it fit a Lowrance and a Hummingbird or do you have to buy a different one for each unit? And which one is your favorite map.

Navionics will fit both. IMO, Navionics is far superior to Lakemaster.

Just to clarify the above post, ( some ) Navionics will fit both units. Some older map cards aren't compatible with both.

Thanks for the info. One more question. When you buy Navionics or one of the other cards do you get the card and download it to your Lowrance or do you have to run your unit with the card inside your unit.
