    Default Recommend an aerator

    Hello,
I am looking for an aerator to put in my shiner bucket to add some oxygen in this hot weather. I have used the "search" function on this forum but got zero results. So, I thought I would just ask the experts. I have a small igloo ice chest (probably about 3 gallons) that I use for my shiner bucket. I would prefer a 12V aerator but am open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

    Charlie

This is what I use but I bought a bubbler strip like for a fish tank and glued it to the bottom of my cooler.

Last year went through 3 of the new Frabill pumps. The lasted about a month each. Bought a marine Metals 12 volt 2 outlet unit. Can run 2 minnow buckets and live well of it.

I use two 120v aquarium aerators hooked to 120v AC to 12v DC inverter....

Inverter allow 12v air supply while fishing...then plug 120v aquarium aerators into garage 120v receptical when boat is stored....

*1 aerator supplies the bulk minnow tank (shown)
*1 aerator supplies the minnow bucket on the from deck with me (via 1/8" vinyl tubing ran along the gunnel to the front deck)...
