The shape of your bottom one is like the baits I make but different color,I have not seen a better bait yet
Yesterday I was goofing around in 85 degrees of soupy air trying out a few panfish lure designs I made in winter.
I hadn't seen any orange lures or orange tails on grubs (the usual bright tails being white, pink or chartreuse), so I made a few.
I caught a bunch of these little guys, white and yellow perch and many 12" crappie:
The action never stopped in and near pads all day long. Guess I'll make more.

Bottom of page, top right hand corner.
I've been catching all species on them for five years since I first poured them using a teaspoon.
