Man them are about to bust like a firecracker!! Nice day fer sure!!
I hadn't planned on going this morning because the wind was supposed to be blowing hard but when
I got up it was calm so I headed to the lake for a couple of hours, by 8:30 am it blew me of the lake.
The temps today hit 79° for the second day in a row but the water temps were still at 59.7° after the
cold snap we just had. I believe about 2° of water temp rise will put them on the bed. They are already
in shallow water (2'-4') or holding close to it. I caught most of these on minnows and some on Roadrunners.
I ended up with 32 and if you look at the picture of the four you will see how full of eggs they are.

congrats on the catch. The wind was blowing up here as well, but I did not have the success you had. Mostly shorts, one keeper.
