Default Lake Harding with Falcon Smitty on 2/27

My friend David and I had the good fortune to spend yesterday fishing with Smitty on Lake Harding on the Ga/Al line. I found and connected with him via this site. I have been a bass fisherman all of my life but have been seriously trying to learn how to consistently catch crappie for about a year.
We hit the jackpot with Smitty and he helped me take a big leap forward in the learning curve in one day. I found him to an outstanding teacher, fisherman, and person. One of the hardest things for me was realizing that I needed some help rather than trying to figure out everything on my own. Spending a day with a really good guide, if you can, is money well spent--wish I had done it much sooner.
The pictures of the fish were posted yesterday on the Georgia forum by Falcon Smitty under the thread "Today's Meat Locker" or on he's website, Crappieguys.com. Those of you who are fishing the tournament at Harding on Saturday have a treat in fishing a Great Lake and your work cut out to beat "da Man".

    Thanks again Smitty,
    Fly

Thank you sir for the kind words. I enjoyed fishing with y'all yesterday. It is tough locating this time of year because they are on the move. Just glad we were able to get quality fish. Hope to fish with you again soon. Maybe on Lake martin. here is the video from yesterday.

Always here Mr. Plemmons! My health kept me off the water for a while but now I am fishing 4 days a week... Guess I should post here on the main forum more often..
