Try Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They have done a good job for me. You can use them on just about any thing.
I just tried getting the waterline off of my aluminum boat. I haven't found anything that does a real good job. I have tried Never Dull,Awesome, boat wax, rubbing alcahol. Haven't tried soap pads or any chemicals. Awesome and scowering pads does the best job , but not really a clean job. There has got to be something out there to do a better job. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks for any help.

OK....just kidding. Try some buffing compound (not too course), apply by hand.

Mine's been there since 2005. I gave up, and don't even think about it anymore.
I've used 3M scotchbrite pads, the green ones your wife uses to scrub those pots and pans, and simple green. Does a good job on my aluminum boat. Let the soap solution soak for a bit the scrub.
I bought a 94 Bass Tracker that looked like it never was cleaned with a nasty water line. A friend tried some FSR with a rag and it came off without any effort at all. DO NOT try Aluminex or any other product with similar ingredients unless you plan on major buffing and sealing/waxing. Believe me, I learned this the hard way!
I have used LUCAS slick Mist. It works well for me. The first time takes a little work but after that a light mist and wipes right off. You can find it at O'Reilly Auto Parts.
has anyone tried clr? it might work. if it does it will work fast and easy.
