    I have eaten alot of sauger out of the arkansas river here. Never had walleye. Do they taste the same? Sauger are excellent!

    I cant tell any difference, walleye are nice white meat with a very mild taste, only thing about them are I like to thin my fillet out if they are very thick for some reason they seem to taste better!

    I agree with that. Sauger and walleye taste close to the same to me. Sounds like I need to start fishing the Arkansas River
