    When putting crappie on a rope stringer, do you ............
    Just curious which method is most popular.

    I usually string 1st crappie threw mouth out the gills, then fish after that are in gills out the mouth

    Don't ask me why I do that way.

    neither one of the poll choices. when i do, and that would be for a pic, i go in under the bottom lip, out the mouth and thru ring on the first, then thru the bottom lip, out the mouth on the rest. most of the time i transfer from live well to ice chest when i get back to truck or if cool weather i just leave em in the live well till i get home and fillet em.

    bottom lip they stay alive longer than running a rope near their gills

    Yep, I use one of them "hook for each fish" stringers.
    But, I keep em in the livewell till I get ready to string em.
    At that time I cull some out that I think need a second chance, etc, etc.........
    The rest = are doomed ...........
