I have never been big on crappie fishing. I guess I was too young, dumb and impatient. However I have really enjoyed attempting to learn this summer. I have been night fishing several times and caught a few fish, but nothing like everyone else fishing the same lakes are. I fish Lay lake and Mitchell lake mainly in central Alabama. I fish 1 floating light and 1 submersible green fluorescent light that has a downward white flood light built in. I use minnows for bait and fish various depths just as everyone else says they are on the lake. Any pointers from the more experienced crappie fishers on here? I would surely appreciate it.
