    I was curious to know what everyone's jig head and jig colors of choice for fishing dirty muddy water?

    Black Head, Black Body, Purple Tail

    I'd go with the chartreuse or some form of fluorescent color. Although black is a great color for bass, I've never done well with it when using straight black. Black with a high contrast, such as pink or chartreuse, does great. Many times I've fished a 2" black curly tail and got nothing until I switch to a brighter color.

    orange/chartreuse glow has always produced for me.
