If in the South I doubt it in the summer, but most likely in Spring. I fish in 25 to 30 feet of water right now and possible deeper.
Hey guys im still at vacation but i need to know a thing or two, so when i get home im doing some night fishing and i know a dock that its deepest fow is 6ft. Is this deep enough to night fish for crappie?

If it's got deeper water close by, and a fairly substantial sized light on it .... it may draw enough "minnows" to allow you to cast to the outer fringes of the light. The only real way to find out, is just to try it & see !!

20-25 if you are on a ledge of the main channel . Jmo
Usually for me, if i am catching good fish in an area during the day, say in the mid morning in 20 fow at 14 ft deep. Then at night they will not be to far away from the same area. Maybe a little shallower at night, 20 fow 8-10 ft deep.
