I use Hi Tek holders, B&M rods from 8 to 16 feet, Okuma 15 line counter reels and Bandit 200 & 300 cranks.

    Would you post a picture of a Bandit 200 & 300 crank?

200 has the shorter bill, 300 is the longer bill, 100 is even shorter than 200

Go to the MS board and read the stickey at the top. You will find over a hundred pages worth of info on pulling cranks.

I'm not familiar with them but how about this scenario, take whatever equipment you have and try it out for trolling. Lots of us started out with our old stuff and upgraded as we saw the need and could afford it. Time on the water will tell you best how your current gear is working or you might try to hook up with somebody who trolls for crappie and pick their brain. Info you will get here will be a good start but you will need to see what works for you the best. Some of my poles are almost 20 years old, have tip sections broken off, etc and are not the latest and greatest but they still catch fish.
