Tritons everywhere
We were headed up to Paris Landing on Friday afternoon for a camping/fishing weekend. When we got to Paris, we were seeing Triton boats everywhere and the closer we got to the water, the more we saw. When we got to the campground, there was the banner for the ABA Triton owners 2 day tournament Friday and Saturday. Turns out there were over 300 boats that fished this tournament. No wonder we were seeing them wall to wall! Power poles and big 250's everywhere!! Luckily, the campground still had several spots open, so we found a good spot and got set up (this was the maiden voyage for our new camper). We noticed that the guy a couple sites over was one of the tournament anglers but didn't check out his boat that close. After the tourney was over on Saturday and our neighbor came back in, we see "Carlisle" down the side of his boat. How cool - he's sponsored by the company Paul works for. So Paul goes over to talk to him, check out the boat and take some pics for the guys at work to see. Turns out he and the marketing rep are coming to the Jackson plant later this month to see how the tires are made. Funny how small the world is sometimes. By the way, his name is Scott Dean and he came in 3rd and that boat was pretty darn sharp for a bass boat
