    Unhappy Struck Out Again

Rod&reel And I And Our Wives Went To Lake Of Pines Friday. We fished
Fri & Sat caught several "yellow Bellies" but NO crappie. We spent Fri
nite & Sat Nite, We cooked, ate and drank and had a good time but no one
else that we talked to caught anything either. RR & wife stayed. I have
not heard from him today. With the rain coming he will be coming home
today. When it gets cold the fishing will be good over there but its early
    now.
    Good fishing!

Hey, KINGFISHER.......I was thinking since I hadn't heard from R & R Sat. or Sun. that things didn't work out. That's one of the things you can't control, but as you said, you can still have a great time w/family and friends. Better luck next time......the cold weather is coming!

Labill I Like The Way You Have Your Boat Rigged. R&r & I Have Ours

Similar To Yours. I Can Fish 6 Rods From The Front Of My Boat
And 6 From The Back. R&r Can Uses Those Tybolt(?) Holders In
His Boat. He Can Use More Rods.... And Yes You Should See Some
Of The Tangles He Gets. He Thinks More Rods Are Better. Some
Time He Spends More Time Rigging Than Fishing. He And Victor
Were In His Boat And I Was In Mine And I Ask Victor If He Had Seen
Anyone Spend More Time Rigging Up Than R&r. He Said No.
Would You Believe We Forget To Try The Cam On Lake O Pines. That
Would Have A Great Place To Try It Out. But I Think R&r Forget On
Purpose Since Our Wives Were With Us. The Cam Is A Secret, If You
Know What I Mean(ha). Well I Guess I Have Picked On R&r Enough.
    Good Fishing!

....LOL! Might be a good thing to keep that Aqua-Vu under wraps 'till a year or so passes. Then if the wives see it, y'all can say, " Dear, we got this ol' thing more than a year ago!" Always worked for me!

King, are you sure you were looking at my boat? IBNFHSN posted his boat with my name on the thread so that I would see it. I had asked him for info on "spider rigging" since that's about the only way he fishes. I'm planning to rig my boat the same way or similar to it, but I hope to find some pole holders that I can clamp onto the gunnels; that way I can remove them quickly to get into brush above the water level in spring so they won't get tangled in it. I'd like to see you and R & R's boats too, before I start rigging mine. I have a 21 year old boat that I built from a Monarch hull....put in the decks, floor, livewell, console, 4 chairs, and carpeted all but the console and chairs. I have changed the layout twice, and plan to change to a larger front deck when I have time. I'll send you a photo or two of the old scow, in case we ever meet on the water. Keep a tight line, KING, maybe you, R & R and I can make a trip together soon.

Labill I misread that post I sure thought that was your boat. I guess you
know what kind of boat I have. I split some 2X4 and bolted them to the
rails of my fiberglass boat. I bought some calmp on holders from WalMart
about $3-5 each. When I am not fishing I tanke them off. They are easyto clamp on. They are easy to get your rod out of when the big one hits.
Now R&R has the more expensive holders. They have a base that he bolts
to his boat. He has a tracker. He likes his - I like mine. Mine are not fancy
but they are functional..... If I could only find some fish. I might get a
digital camera for xmas. If I do I want you to show me how to put a
picture on this site. Probably will not be of any fish but maybe my boat.
    Good Fishing!
P.S. I sure would like to make that trip with you.
