welcome to the family!
Just thought I'd drop in and say hello. Grew up learning the ropes from my grandad on the old legendary crappie lakes of Sardis and Enid in north MS as a kid in the 70s and early 80s. Then got into the bass fishing where I've been eversince but I bought a farm 2 years ago in a west TN riverbottom that has 2 lakes on it (about 40 acres combined) that is slam full of crappie. Been ignoring the crappie while bass fishing even though we catch slabs on bassbaits every trip... until this year! I have been preparing for a fish fry for a new house and keeping crappie this year and now find myself enjoying crappie fishing once again. (My grandad is now 90 so it will be enjoyable taking him back out for crappie once again, like old times!)
