How many of you been wetting a line this month? The weather is phenomenal to say the least. Daytime temps in the 40's & 50's. Water temps around 38 degrees and NO ice on the ponds! Incredible. No snow on the grounds in this western end of the state either.

Went out last week and caught 11 good sized yellow perch, 1 crappie and 2 gills. In FEBRUARY! LOL! And as the sun gets higher in the sky, the chance for freezing weather and ice diminishes rapidly with each passing day.

The only problem I can see is the danger from brush fires (due to the dryness) and low pools in the lakes & river. A problem I don't particularly mind dealing with. Anyone else been out wetting a line in open water?
