Just got in from another night of slab wrangling. (Figure that one out). I caught 8 slabs from my pvc top in 18' of water fishing 10-12 feet deep. They have been suspended at this depth for the last few days. The weather in North Louisiana has been very unusually warm this time of year. The mosquitos were horrible tonight, but I still managed to catch 16 nice Crappie and 3 bass tonight (24 Crappie for the day). The surface temperature was 64 degrees. They are still coming into the shallow waters and feeding in 4-6 ft. of water at night. I keep saying it won't last long and just as soon as we have some cold weather this fun will be over.

Good job, R & R........at the rate you're going, Lake O' The Pines may have to be "second choice." Cypress has been good to you this fall, I hope it continues. Best to ya, R & R.
