Cool The site is up...but not finished yet

I got the site up. You can link to it here: http://www.angelfire.com/pro/slabking/index.html

I'm still building the photo pages and I plan building a few pages on crappie fishing rigs (learning HTML code is not the easiest thing to do :p ). I'd like to add a local forum in the near future as well. Let me know if there is anything you guys would like to see added and I'll see what I can do. Thanks

Really nice job of putting that together. Lots of good info. I was glad to see you mention your concerns about overfishing. At Brownlee we are going through the same problem. There is actually an illegal commercial market in Portland and Seattle for Brownlee crappie.

Thanks guys. I understand were you coming from Oregon slabman. It's kinda funny how people can understand that releasing large bass is better for the health and future of a body of water but they have no problem keeping 60 spawning crappie. It takes a lot longer for the crappie populations in a lake to recover than it doses bass do to the fact that crappie are a huge food source to all the predators in these lakes. Brownlee is a good example of what can happen when the crappie in a lake are overfished.

I added a few more lakes to the westside crappie lakes for you Bassman. Just enough to keep my honeyholes a secret that is

I'm not sure what that creek is called Bassman. It's at the very end of the south end of the lake. About 70% of the crappies that I've caught from Cassidy came from the pads and brushpiles near the creek. I just wish the state would put some money into that sad boat launch lol.
