    Default Going through withdrawls here....

My fishing poles are talking to me, i can't stop looking at the tackle box across the room. My dreams are filled with visions of being out on the lake shoreline enjoying a nice spring breeze waiting for the big bite to hit the line.

I'm going crazy here for spring to start and get this fishing season underway.

Won't be much longer, Chris. Go out to Cabela's or Bass Pro and just look around. The Boat Sports and Travel shows are going on now. You can check them out. EB

One thing i am thinking about getting is a fish attractant to apply to some of the plastics or hard lures that i have and giving it a shot. Out of boredom, i tasted and smelled the plastics and they taste and smell like plastic, i imagine the fish taste the same thing.

I've Smelly Jelly works, so i might go with that.

Drove around early this morning to take a look at some of the lakes. Went out to Standing Bear and got lost (Eventually found it). Made my way to Wehrspann and took a look around to get a good idea of where the good spots for shoreline fishing would be. Stopped by Walnut Creek and saw that it was completely frozen, even saw someone a good 60 - 70 yards out ice fishing near the submerged trees. Don't know if he caught anything. Have to admit, that ice looked thick out there.

Cut the hook off of a jig and play with the cats. It's some fast and furious action.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat
