Hit up the causeway on nw side last night. fished from 7pm to 10pm. caught 20 crappies. not bad except that i did not get and of the big slabs. the fish were about 8in to 10in. anybody know a better time or place to fish from shore to get bigger fish?

went back up to causeway next night on nw side caught 20 more crappies better size this time with some up to 12'' one 13''. guess its just what ones hit first. All fish on just plain hook and medium minnow by no parking sign. 2 to 4 ft down between 7:30 and 9:15pm. pick up new boat next week so hopefully be able to fish on the lake soon.
