    Default KY Lake

Has anyone been to KY Lake this week? A friend of mine has been there and hasn't had any luck or seen or talked with anyone that has. Been fishing on Jonathan Creek. Anyone been there or close to Moors?:

Marv, i was down last week during the storms. Took me a few days to figure out where the fish were hiding. Found them with only 3 days left to fish. Fish the docks. Jigs and waxworms under a bobber worked for us. Didn't matter if they were wood or metal, the fish were there. But that was last week. They may be on the shorelines by now. But check the docks as well.

Well, I'll be heading out Monday afternoon for KY Lake. I would appreciate any current report for Jonathan Creek. I will post a report as soon as I return on Friday or Saturday.

    Default No Luck

Just got back from Hillman's ferry. Camped for 7 days. Fished everyday. Could not find the fish. They are scattered all over the lake right now with the water coming up so fast. I did get a report of some good catches around the docks though. Good luck!

Didn't have alot of luck this weekend either. The fish really seem scattered. Only one or two on a few beds. I can't blame it on the water temp, or the barometer, or the weather. I guess it must be the rising water although I didn'y think that would hurt them. I was thinking about returning next week. Any thought on when they might settle???

I went to Barkley Last week and they were REALLY scattered. I thought was me, but I have read other reports and I see it was the rising water and not just my lack of fishing expertise. LOL. Went yesterday to Barkley again and found them 6-10 feet in 15ft or so of water, still scattered. Not many shallow as of yet. The eggs in ours were not developed fully yet. I think where we are fishing the spawn has not gotten in full swing yet. I will keep going and maybe we can hit it JUST RIGHT. Luck to all of you.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

I am catching about 10-12 a day just fishing off my dock. I walk down there a few times each day and toss in a minnow or two--if they are biting, I stay a while, if not--I get back to my chores or take a nap.

fished a off an on last fri-sunday,, tough to find, some caught deep 10-12 ft in the mornings but not many, a few off out dock,, I think raising the water 3-4 ft in a 10days is crazy,, hopefully next weekend things will settle down and the crappie will find their place,
I thought I was the only one who had a tought weekend
