    Default glow jigs

Do you all use glow jigs just at night or in dirty water or are they just as effective in really clear water? What is the advantage of using them and can you tell a difference in catching more fish?

I make Glow jigs and use them probably more in the day time. I mean like in summer after you get down 10' it's dark anyway. I can hold mine under the table I tie on and see them glow like crazy. I take these pics even without turning my over head light off and just stick my hand under this table. See pic below.

I use glow jigs and I do not fish at night. They are the only style of jig bodies I use. If I run out I head home...

I am also a big fan of glow tubes. I fish the midsouth super jig in glow chart 98 percent of the time. It is one of the brightest chart baits out there plus it glows.

There are regular "glo" and ulrta violet "glo" jigs/ lures. I recently have started using the ultra violet "glo" jigs and have been having some SPECTACULAR results with them. There is an aerosol spray also...TRY IT, you MIGHT be amazed !

WOW, strong results. I seem to do better in the day with them, everywhere. Seems to be a real hot ticket, cause I'm catching when others aren't. I've been using the powder paint, straight dipping them. I like the panfish assassins glow through the ice too
