    Default Sons 13" Crappie

No motor this weekend AGAIN! So Friday we decided we'll go to the rocks and give it a try. Ended up doing well and its an area where people swim off the rocks because it a sharp drop in to deeper water.
Went back Sat. after dinner and didn't do well for a while then right around the time here the come. Its a window of 45-60 minutes. then stops just as fast as it happens. So I got schooled by the son this weekend. Did well, and already looking to go up on Tursday and get more time to fish.

Hitting the 10-15' water. jigs of about any color. Did very good at a place where the kids swim all day. Its a rock they call flat rock. Its about 5"or so under water and 1 step off and your in 10-15 fow. Around 7ish the Crappies come in and you have a field day. next thing you know its dark and they're gone and so are you, can't see and the mosquitos are killing you. Got up the other morning and went out. Tried a couple of places and then flatrock....nothing. Took a rid to a dock that holds a pontoon boat and bam! there the where. had some fun. No real size but kept 4 to put in the freezer.
