Thanks for the info. I have never trolled cranks and right now I do not have a boat, but I was wondering if casting them from the banks of deeper water might work.
I don't use the crankbaits for Crappie Never learned how to do; that, but for Bass I've always been a Bandit Guy, I'm a shallow water Jiggin crappie guy always with southern pro jigs...
rocket do you use the 2 inch southern pro curly tail and if so what colors?
Mostly tubes and not too many colors even though I have all the rainbow colors plus. I do like the 2 inch which I can only get at Cabella's
thanks for the tip! Bandits are the best crappie crank I know, 200 & 300 work for me. Did run into a guy years ago when I was working at Walmart sporting goods, he wanted a little norman crappie crank (I think that was it), had to be a certain shade of blue, he said. He had driven two hours to our store to see if we had one . . . we didn't.

I never used a Bandit Lure. When the post came up about the special I went to the website and ordered a couple for $2.99 each. I looked at the ones that said Crappie Colors-and they are really nice. $5.and change. I use a lot of Rapalas in the Jointed Shad Rap a JSR-5 they run 6-13' deep. I catch everything on them. I hope the Bandits are as good.
