    Default Float'n Fly

I have done a lot of this using a planing bobber to keep my lines out to the side and cover a wide path in my canoe.

Should advertisements really be posted on the main board?

as long as it's not blatant. We all "advertise" a little, when we post about our equipment, methods, and the "choices" we make.

    I wouldn't really call it "Float'n Fly" fishing, though ...... what's shown/described is more of a "trolling" setup/method. ......... cp

not everyone is convinced that this product is "all that"

If there weren't any "advertising" allowed on the main forum .... how would we ever know about "guides", "rods", "jigs", "line", or any of the other things we use. As long as it's subtle, or within the framework/spirit of "information concerning fishing", I'll allow it (unless over ruled by Ed). I'll let the scrutiny of the membership be the judge, of whether or not the product is worthy. (and with over 450 views of the 3 posts ... and only a handfull of replies ... it would appear that the majority of the membership isn't convinced, or interested). .......... cp
