I am looking to take a trip to Kerr lake in Jan. or Feb.. Do you know of any good spots on the N.C. side? What is the best method and depth for that time of year? Thanks. CF

CF, We go in March for a week every year but have never fished the Carolina side. That time of the year they are in a pre spawn mode and are usually holding at the mouth of creeks off the main lake. That early in the year, I really have no idea where they might be. You might try asking on the message board here.

BTW, your Carolina license is good on both sides of the border on that lake in case you didn't know it. The states have a reciprocal license agreement.
