    Default looking at reels.....

does any one have one of these ( Bass Pro Shops Extreme Spinning Reels ) I have the pro qualifier thats been a great reel, this one seems to be the same only a few less bearings. I love the wide spool reels, am looking at a reel for a rod (& method) that I dont use alot, so it doesent have to be high end & I dont wanna spend alot, just because it wont get used as often as most of my others. I own diawa's, shimanos, and several others...not looking for a debate of this ones better than that, to be honest diawa, shimano, pfluger all makes great reels. just looking to see if any one uses this one or has any thoughts.....like I said Im pretty sold on the large dia spool type reels......have a great one all & God bless!!!

If you like large diameter reels look at the US Reel 180sx . I have 5 of them and they are very smooth and have a great drag. Rogers sporting gooods has them on sale for $40, or at least they did. I think the original retail was over $100. For the size and amount of line they will hold they are very light also.
