    Well o wise one in arky , got you on this one ... I'm not a tightwad only thrifty.. But i never get bit on the arms or legs??

    rich, those parts are moving more when you are outside than your neck or ears and you wasted money buying the extract when just the vanilla flavoring at about 70 a bottle would have done but you yankees got money to burn. at least you got some of mine to burn.

    most knats and mosquitos are attracted to the carbon dioxide we breath out, therefore usualy concentrating on the head area more so than other areas...{ i think i read that somewere}...just what i thought always.

    I know the midge flys will bite anywhere,,and the imitation vanilla works on them too.l

    this is a true tale as told to me by oldtimers back in the day. and i'm guessing it was after the floods of '37 and or '27 when they farmed with horses and mules. they said the gnats were so bad back then they had to cover the noses on the horses and mules to keep them from sucking them into their lungs. they said some lost mules and horses from the gnats.
