If a fallen water condition consists, most likely it will affect all the fish. If they are shallow then they will pulled back to the next drop off .or break line. A fast drop in the water colum, will make the crappie and the fish move toward deeper water in a hurry don't know if they fill threaten, or think they will be left on dry land or what.

On the waters I fish it is bad- how bad varies some. If it happens in conjunction with some other less than perfect conditions such as high pressure it can be a show stopper. I love it when there is a "clear" rise. That is to say that the dam is backing up the water, not rising, muddy water from a rain event.
