    Torn between Hummingbird and Lowrance.... whats everyone's opinion??? Thinking of Lowrance 135 or back to Hummingbirds... come on.. speak up please!!! Thanks

    I recommend Lowrance/Eagle. Either the Eagle model 480 or 320. I think the 480 sells for about $190 and the 320 for about $150.

    I would choose the x-135 over the Eagle because of the power. The Eagle is only 1500 watts vs. 4000.

    I had a H'bird 400 ID. BPS had the Eagle 500C on sale 349.00. This is a color unit. It shows the bottom soooo much better that the H'bird. The color is worth the difference also. I can see every small stump, snag, hump, everything.Just IMHO!!!!!

    i have two x135 s and have been very happy with them.i have a lot of 1x2 s drove into the river and i can see them on my x135

    How about the humminbird 987c i think that it is a awesome unit even though i dont own one, i am thinking of buying one.

    Never used a hummingbird locator before. I have used garmin and lowrance and you can't go wrong with those two. I perfer Lowrance since I've owned 5 locators and have never had any problems with them.
